At 元素 Financial, we believe there’s power in giving back to our community. That’s why our 200 employees spent the day away from the office on Monday, October 10 to serve with time, 人才, 和财富.

During the morning hours, we encouraged employees to organize their own projects, allowing them to support the causes they are passionate about close to home. Our 印第安纳波利斯 and remote staff served at nearly 20 organizations of their choice across the country — with representation from New Hampshire, 华盛顿, 明尼苏达州, 佛罗里达, 及以后.

To allow for greater impact, the 元素 Cares Committee, our philanthropic and grant-making team, contributed more than $3,000 to fund employee-supported causes. This funding allowed employees to make a greater impact at Damar 服务, Inc.，女孩公司. of Johnson County, Jameson Camp, Soul Food Project, Old Bethel & Partners Food Pantry, Friends of 印第安纳波利斯 Dogs Outside (FIDO), and The Human-Animal Bond SOAR Initiative.

In the afternoon, our local staff gathered at the INDUSTRY event space in Downtown Indy to learn more about the organizations we served this year and worked together to create “元素 Cares Kits” under each of our Pillars of Giving:

• 无家可归 & 住房: Kits for NeighborLink to provide to elderly homeowners
• Healthy Lifestyles: Kits for Little Red Door to provide to cancer patients
• Youth Development: Kits for DREAM Alive to provide to at-risk youth 

Employees walked away from the day feeling like they made an impact in the places they call home and with organizations that inspire them. 另外, all staff is given Volunteer Paid Time Off annually to use at any time to support their favorite causes. 

With members in all 50 states and employees in more than a dozen, we are proud to be present in communities across the country.
